Five Years

Yesterday was five years.
I barely thought about it all day.
Booie didn't think about it at all because when I finally asked Booie, "Do you know what today is?", Booie said, "I don't even really know what the date is."
Then, I told Booie the date and Booie realized the significance.
Then, we turned our attention to the war and other teevee.
Then, we went to bed and Booie said, "Well, I guess today would be weird if it didn't end with one of these."
Then, Booie planted a kiss on my lips.
Then, I cried and fell asleep.
