No dinner

Rang the bell twice. Knocked twice. Loomed on her porch like a dork. Waited in the car for ten minutes. Got home. Called her number - line busy. Called my parents and they said the magic words - "Don't worry about her. She was just doing this to get money from us anyway."
And, so I'm not. We didn't have dinner. She never answered the door.
